Mission Concepción

Mission Concepción is part of San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed San Antonio Missions. Its historic stone church has remained remarkably intact, allowing visitors to experience architecture that has stood for nearly three centuries.

 

Inside, visitors can see remnants of colourful frescoes that once decorated the mission’s walls and ceilings. The surrounding grounds also provide insight into the communities that lived, worked, and worshipped at the mission during the Spanish colonial period.
