As the title implies Niagara Falls is all about the water flowing over a cliff and not so much about the town. It reminds me of Atlantic City or Reno - places that have some great features but have seen better days. The new tourist area; grouped around the casino on the Canadian side (which is what this review deals with; we did not venture onto the USA side) is trying to be Las Vegas North making it a family destination; but we did not gamble; or go to the many tourist trap establisments on Clifton Hill. We were here to see the falls in all their glory so that means taking a tour. We googled Falls Tours and were lucky that SeaSight Tours came up. After choosing the agenda that we wanted we effortlessly booked online after business hours. That was confirmed via an email later that evening and followed up next morning with a phone call. They made it super easy to book and schedluled a pickuup right in the Hilton lobby. That's when we met John our tour guide. We picked up 4 more passengers in our brand new Dodge mini van and proceeded with one of the best tours we have ever had and a lot of that is John's doing. He was knowledeabe and friendly and very funny - the perfect guide. I won't cover the sites we saw since they vary by tour but we saw everything we wanted to see and even got good local advice on where to eat. It was a great experience! <p>Brilliant tour; our guide was friendly and informative. We had a morning tour which meant we missed all the big queues that happened once the coaches of tourists arrived. We saw the sights and learnt a little history of the area and falls; although you can do the boat ride and behind the falls independently I would recommend the tour as you jump the queues and the information given by the guide was great.</p>

We had a great guide . He was very personable and gave a lot of information insight. We went to Journey behind the Falls;Hornblower boat ride into the falls; into and up the Skylon Tower. Plus we saw and found out lots of information on our way to see the places.

When I booked on line; I had a response a while later saying as I'd booked the 5 hour tour as a single; they may not be able to take me on the helicopter ride. This issue for singles is not clear on their web site. However; they had a party of 3 on my day; so all was well... Dustin met me from the hotel and we had a small party. He was a super friendly guide who knew his stuff locally but not too clear on the Bridal Falls; telling me; a Brit; they were named after the Duke & Duchess of Scotland!!! No such people!!After a laugh or two; we established he meant the Duke of Edinburgh and the then Princess Elizabeth; now Queen Elizabeth II Apart from that; See Sight Tours in the hands of Dustin is a super tour to take. The timings are spot on; the included itinerary of Behind the Falls; Niagara Helicopters; Hornblower Cruise and lunch at Skylon have enough time to enjoy and not feel rushed. If you look at their pricing and think ermmm; think again; you cut thru queues; timing is good and you are looked after; highly recommended.

<p>See-Sight Tours were great. We had to change our reservation at the last minute and they were very accommodating about doing so. The tour groups are small and you feel like you are getting a personal tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very personable. We were also able to add the night tour and I would highly recommend this part. We were able to go to the illumination building and actually control the lights covering the falls and enjoy a nice dinner overlooking the falls.</p>

Tour guide Corwyn was awesome; he was so knowledgeable; friendly; and went out of his way to make our morning a really memorable one. The tour itself was well worth the price it covered everything you need to know and see about Niagara Falls. We had a weekend we will never forget.
