Miami is a city that never sleeps, and it’s the perfect place to spend 48 hours. Whether you’re here on business or just in town for a few days, we have plenty of things to do and see that will keep you busy for the entire time.
Visit the Wynwood Walls
The Wynwood Walls are a public art space in Wynwood, Miami. They're located at the corner of NW 2nd Avenue and NW 5th Street—a busy intersection that has become part of the city's art scene as well as home to some of its most popular restaurants.
Wynwood Walls was founded by David Walker and Tony Goldman who wanted to create an environment where artists could come together and share their work with others. Since 2015, over 1 million people have visited this area; it's also been featured on many travel shows including "Miami Heat," "Spectrum News," "The Travel Channel" etc.

Visit the Art deco buildings
Art Deco is a style of architecture that was popular during the 1920s and 1930s. It's known for its unique use of geometric shapes, bold colors and exotic materials such as marble and chrome. The Miami Beach district has a number of iconic examples of art deco buildings. They're beautiful to look at, but they also serve as great places to shop!
Enjoy your time at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a historic house museum and garden located in Miami, Florida. It was built by tobacco magnate William Jennings Bryan between 1925-1929 as a family home for his wife Marjorie Merriweather Post and their four children.
It is considered to be one of the finest examples of Mediterranean Revival architecture in the United States. Vizcaya was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 19, 1974; its listing includes both buildings within its grounds as well as six acres (24 ha) surrounding them.
It has been designated an official historic district by Miami-Dade County since 1987. This designation honors its status as one of only three such properties in Miami-Dade County.
Spend Time with Friends at Biscayne Bay cruise
Biscayne Bay is a great place to spend time with friends, family and your significant other. If you're looking for something more romantic, the cruise will offer an intimate setting where you can enjoy some fresh air and watch dolphins swim in the water. It's also a great way to get acquainted with Miami's local wildlife while learning about their habitats. If you're planning on spending 48 hours in Miami Beach or South Beach (or both), this cruise is perfect!
People-watching and shopping
Art galleries: The Wynwood Art District is an area of Miami that features many art galleries, including some of the most famous in the world. You can also visit the Bienal de la Habana, which brings together international artists from all over Latin America for a week-long event every year.
Miami Beach and Lincoln Road shopping district: Both are great places for people-watching, but if you're looking for more retail options (and less beach), then head on over to South Beach or downtown Miami—they both have their own distinct personalities that make them worth visiting even if you don't want to hit up any actual beaches!
Boutique hotels: These newer hotels offer chic rooms with modern amenities like flat screen TVs and smart phones available at check-in; they'll also probably give you access to free WiFi so your room has no excuse not being connected when you need it!
The coolest places to eat
The Broken Shaker: This hip-hop record store is housed in the historic Baseline Theatre and has been around since 1985. You can visit it while listening to some of your favorite artists like Nas, Wu Tang Clan and Snoop Dogg.
If you're an aspiring artist or just love music, this is the place for you! The Cypress Room: Located inside of Miami's historic Lincoln Theatre building, this restaurant serves breakfast all day long (and brunch on Saturdays) with dishes ranging from eggs benedict to chicken & waffles to pancakes & sausage hash browns with syrup.
They also have a great bar area where they serve up some delicious cocktails. Check out their website before heading over here so that there will be no surprises when walking into their doors later tonight after work as well!

Miami is one of the most exciting cities in the United States. It's home to some of America’s best art deco architecture and has more museums than any other city on this list (including the Art Deco Preservation Center).
If you're looking for something more active, Miami has plenty to offer as well—you can go scuba diving or snorkeling with sea turtles! And if you want to enjoy a night out with friends or family before heading back home, there are plenty of amazing spots where everyone will feel comfortable mixing with each other.
