Description

Experience San Antonio on a private San Antonio walking tour designed for small groups of up to 10 people. You’ll start at The Alamo. This historic site tells the story of the 1836 battle. You’ll walk through shaded courtyards and past old cannons and stone walls. The guide will explain how the battle unfolded and who fought there. It’s quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees that have stood for over a hundred years.

Next, enjoy a 35-minute River Walk Cruise. The boat moves slowly through the heart of downtown. As you float along, you’ll see places like La Villita, the Old Mill Crossing, and Selena’s Bridge. Your guide will share small stories and fun facts while you enjoy this calm and scenic ride.

After the cruise, you’ll explore the Historic La Villita District. This area is full of art, color, and charm. The cobblestone streets and Spanish buildings give it an old-world feel. You’ll also stop at the Love Lock Bridge, where couples leave padlocks as a sign of love.

Then, head to San Fernando Cathedral. It’s one of the oldest active churches in the United States. The outside is grand and made of stone. Inside, it’s quiet and still. Beneath the altar lie the remains of several defenders of the Alamo. The space feels both sacred and historic.

Your final stop is the Tower of the Americas. You’ll take an elevator up 623 feet to the top. From there, you can see the whole city. The view is wide and clear. It’s a great way to end the tour.

This San Antonio private walking tour gives you a simple, rich look at the city. It’s full of history, local sights, and quiet moments you won’t forget.

My husband and I had a wonderful morning touring San Antiono with KD as our guide. Loved the small group. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped off at a location of our choice when we were done. KD gave us information and then allowed us time to explore on own. He gave us suggestions of other things to do once the tour was done. He said we were free to contact him if we had any questions during the rest of our stay! Actually we ran into him the following day. It was great to be able to thank him again. KD was truly interested in what we had done during our stay. Must say the friendliest guide I have ever had.
