Peggy's Cove Express Tour from Halifax

I had an amazing experience during this tour. Chandan, my tour guide explained the history behind all attractions. He provided lots of tips, including where to sit in the vehicle for the best view, to what to do in Peggy's cove, and where to get amazing local food. He was on time, and was really friendly and helpful.

I booked this tour expecting a guided experience to Peggy’s Cove, but it didn’t quite match what was advertised. The driver did pick us up directly from our accommodation, which was very convenient, and the transportation itself was smooth. However, there was no real guiding provided—it felt more like a drop-off and pick-up service, as we were simply told to return after an hour. Peggy’s Cove is a beautiful place and definitely worth visiting. That said, the overall experience felt quite minimal for the price. Given the cost (around $330 for three people), it didn’t feel like good value, especially as similar trips could be arranged more affordably. Additionally, the comfort of the journey could be improved, as there was a strong odour in the vehicle which made the ride uncomfortable at times. Overall, this may suit someone looking for convenient transport, but I would recommend clearer advertising and better value for the price.

After having what I had thought was a confirmed booking, later declined by a very well known Tour Company, I was afraid that seeing Peggy's Cove was just not going to happen during my short stay in Halifax. I continued searching. Luckily, I came across a listing by See-Sight Tours. I am So glad that I did! See-Sight Tours are the Only tour company offering tours in the winter ❄️ in Nova Scotia. As it turned out, I was the only passenger booked for the tour that day. They could have easily cancelled the booking due to not meeting a minimum passenger count. But they did not. That is exceptional customer service. My driver, Omar was very personable, and engaged in some interesting conversations along the way to Peggy's Cove. I learned a lot about Nova Scotia from an insiders point of view. I had a full hour and a half to spend there. Peggy's Cove is a magical and picturesque place, even in winter. ❄️ Omar really went above and beyond, in making my visit to the Halifax area a special one. P.S. I hope he was able to make it to the wedding on time!

Driver was knowledgeable provided highlights along the way - dropped us off at round about at Peggy’s Cove and we messaged when we were ready to leave picked us up same spot and dropped us at hotel - great time!

The small group tour to Peggy's Cove was very good and great value for money. Our driver was pleasant and informative and stopped a few places along the drive for us to get out and take photos, the journey took about an hour each way and we had an hour at Peggy's Cove, we felt we could've had longer as there was lots to see & explore. On the drive back our driver drove around the Citadel which was good to see. I would definitely recommend this tour
