Your Niagara Falls day tour starts with a pickup from your downtown Toronto hotel before heading out on your scenic day trip to Niagara Falls.
The first highlight of your day tour in Niagara Falls is a visit to the Skylon Tower. You'll travel 520 feet up in a glass elevator to the observation deck, where you'll be treated to a stunning aerial view of all three waterfalls—Bridal Veil Falls, Horseshoe Falls, and the American Falls. With that, you can enjoy the scenic Niagara River and the surrounding region. On clear days, you might even spot the Toronto skyline from this breathtaking vantage point.
Back on solid ground, your next stop is the exciting Journey Behind the Falls. Here, you’ll descend approximately 125 feet (about 40 meters) through tunnel-like caves to a series of viewing platforms situated directly behind the Falls. It’s a sensory-rich experience where you’ll hear, feel, and see the thunderous power of the water from a unique perspective—perfect for memorable photos.
Next, you’ll climb aboard the seasonal Niagara City Cruises (operating from May to November). Get swept into the depths of the Niagara Gorge for a front-row experience at the thunderous base of the Falls—closer than you ever imagined. You’ll feel the spray of the mist—thankfully, a recyclable rain poncho is provided to keep you dry.
After your boat cruise, your guide will take you on a narrated driving tour of the area, where you'll discover the rich history and natural wonders of Niagara. Along the way, you'll pass by some of Niagara's most iconic spots—like the peaceful Dufferin Islands, the powerful International Control Dam, the historic Old Scow, the swirling Whirlpool Rapids, and the vibrant Floral Clock.
To wrap your day up to Niagara Falls, you’ll enjoy an hour of free time to explore the area at your leisure.
