Just completed the New Year's Evening Dinner Cruise and was extremely disappointed.  First, they were completely disorganized.  We has some member of the crew yelling at staff as we were being checked onto the boat as they we understaffed at the dock.  Once on, we were forced to eat immediately.  We sat down and two salads were put in front of us with some COLD dinner rolls with only one type of dressing(which was some type of honey-mustard). Again the staff were completely disorganized and could even answer some basic questions as to entertainment or what was available to us.  The only thing that she was sure about was we needed to eat IMMEDIATELY and that the buffet would be closing at 6pm.  The couple next to us were also disgusted as to what we paid for and what was being provided.  We proceeded to get our COLD, DRY and POORLY cooked food from the buffet, that had to have been sitting for hours.  The  salmon was so overly cooked that it has turned white, the mixed vegges were cold with the carrots under cooked, the potatoes were roasted and completely dried out and hard as rocks, the prime rib was tasteless with little seasoning, the chicken was dried out and cold.   We picked at it but 90% was left on the plate.  We ate so fast (got on the boat was 440pm and done eating by 515pm) and were done eating, prior to the line additional passengers getting on the boat and leaving shore.   We were thinking about asking to get off(I wish we had).  I tried to voice my concerns to a waiter and a bar tender, but they had no response and could careless. We tried to make the best of it as we left shore, but the entertainment was very lacking.  We went to get drinks from the bar, only to see a cockroach running over a top of one of the glasses, which completely ended the night for my wife.  This was a complete waste of time and money for us and not sure why we paid all this extra money for a New Years event, that was so poorly put together.  We will NEVER go on the George Queen again.

I wouldn’t recommend spending any money doing this. I have visited lots of places & had a lot of food in Savannah. All have been great. This was SUPER expensive and the food was at the same level as a cheap hotel continental breakfast.  We also paid for the anniversary package, an extra SIXTY dollars, to get a very cheap bottle of wine and cheap flowers (not what the pic shows). The wine was so cheap it burned going down. And then the server had the nerve to say they were out of the normal brand so they were giving us an upgrade “free of charge.” Ugh. There are a ton of places to eat and have fun. This isn’t worth the price at all.

After waiting one hour and 15 min  for my daughters Food I get this mac and cheese shown in the picture. Food and service was horrible. The experience wasn't worth the price. The mac and cheese went straight to the trash
