Our Guest Reviews

5/5
My wife and I went on this tour with our tour guide Michael. He picked us up promptly at our Austin Hilton hotel, and dropped us off after the most excellent 3+ hour tour. The tour was everything it promised, and Mike was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Austin, Texas, and showed us many parts of the city we would never have seen on our own. The portion of the tour walking the halls of the State Capitol was outstanding. He knows who's who in Texas politics and the history of the Alamo for sure. We had a stop for a bite to eat at a patisserie and stopped a few times for some photo opps. The view from Mount Bonnell after the 100-step walk uphill was panoramic with the foothills in the distance and the Colorado River dams and upscale mansions on the riverfront. A most excellent tour which we highly recommend. Eric from Detroit

Jessica is great, not only showed us the best of Austin, but she loves this city and defends the preservation of art, music, and everything great for Austin. She is not only a guide, she is an excellent representative of this very nice city. elvio and Betty

Never use this tour company. They no call, no showed on me on my only full day in Austin. I had to call myself and speak to an external rep. The manager wouldn't drive up from San Antonio to fix things for me. I am appalled and want my money back immediately plus a tour credit but I'll be surprised if I get either. This is NOT okay.

Unfortunately this tour was not great or even good. We were picked up at 1:00 as promised by a tour guide that never gave her name. She took us to the state capitol and we did the your, around 30 minutes or so. Which btw you can do for free. After that we were in the car just driving around with no stops until 2:40 when we were dropped back at our hotel. Never went to Mount Bonnell, never got out of the car for the murals, no good stop although she did ask us if there was a good place we wanted to stop but we are the tourists- how would we know. Very disappointing for over $200. We could have rented a car and done better ourselves. I put in a complaint to Viator since that's who I booked with but of course absolutely no response. I'm sure this will also garner no response as well.
