About Mission Concepción
Mission Concepción is one of San Antonio’s remarkable Spanish colonial missions and an important part of the city’s cultural history. Formally known as Mission Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Acuña, the mission was established at its present location in 1731 and remains one of the best-preserved Spanish colonial churches in the United States.
