Description

On the Best of Saint John Seafood Walking Tour, you will indulge in the rich coastal flavors of the city. It's a guided culinary journey that brings together the city's vibrant food scene and historical charm. You will explore Saint John on foot and make stops at thoughtfully selected points to taste some of the region’s best seafood.

Your tour begins with your guide greeting you outside Container Village. It's a colorful waterfront hub constructed from repurposed shipping containers. Here you will start a relaxed stroll toward your first tasting and capture the city’s creative energy.

You will make the first stop at a cozy spot for a warm, creamy seafood chowder. It is made with locally sourced ingredients like haddock, clams, and potatoes, and the culinary skills of the chef make it even more delicious.

Next, you will walk on to enjoy fresh oysters which are a significant part of New Brunswick’s seafood identity. Whether you’re a longtime fan or trying them for the first time, it will be a memorable stop of the tour.

From there, You will continue your walk to King’s Square. It's a beautiful urban park in the heart of Uptown Saint John, designed in the shape of the British Union flag to honor the city’s Loyalist heritage. It’s a peaceful and photogenic spot in the tour where your guide will share a few stories about the city’s founding and its connection with the British Empire.

The next stop is a favorite among many visitors: a lobster roll and a chilled local lemonade. The lobster is served on a toasted bun, the roll is filled with tender chunks of Atlantic lobster. It’s a true East Coast classic.

Finally, you’ll arrive at Market Square, where you will taste a dessert and end the Saint John Seafood Tour on a sweet note. You can choose from a selection of desserts and enjoy it in the relaxed waterfront atmosphere.

my husband, and I took a four hour tour with Russ. We ended up being the only two on the tour and we got a personalized tour of the city. Russ was great. he took pictures of us so we have them for our memories with the two of us together. He was very personable extremely knowledgeable about the city. After we left, he gave us detailed directions on how to get to Halifax via a more scenic route than we had anticipated. He definitely went over and above. he should get a raise.! Thank you very much Russ for a good time!
