Graffiti Alley is one of Toronto’s most colourful and creative urban attractions, transforming a downtown laneway into an ever-changing outdoor gallery. Stretching through the Fashion District just south of Queen Street West, the alley is covered with vibrant murals, graffiti, and street art created by artists from Toronto and beyond.

Also known as Rush Lane, Graffiti Alley runs for several blocks between Spadina Avenue and Portland Street. Nearly every available surface features artwork, from large-scale murals and elaborate lettering to smaller illustrations and creative details tucked between buildings.

 

The artwork changes regularly as artists add new pieces, meaning the alley can look different from one visit to the next. Its central location also makes it easy to explore alongside Queen Street West, Kensington Market, Chinatown, and other popular downtown neighbourhoods.
